LG reveals the Ice Cream Sandwich Schedule
Hot on the heels of Samsung’s preliminary Ice Cream Sandwich update schedule for its Galaxy range of smartphones and tablets, LG has provided a few more details on their plans.
This is a follow-up to LG’s initial announcement, made last month, that they would be updating their Optimus range of smartphones with Android 4.0. The post was made on theirofficial Facebook page, and includes some good news and some bad news.
The good news is, LG has expanded the list of devices which will benefit from an upgrade to the latest version of the OS, but the bad news is owners are going to have to wait until either the second or the third quarter of the year to see it.
Those devices set for a Q2 upgrade are as follows: The LG Optimus 2X, the brand-new Prada 3.0, the Optimus Sol, the Optimus LTE, the Eclipse and the LG myTouch Q.
For Q3, it’s the turn of the Optimus 3D, Optimus Black, Optimus Big, Optimus EX and Optimus Q2. Several of these devices aren’t available in the UK, so don’t worry if you don’t recognise all the models.
LG promises to do everything they can to ‘offer a smooth OS upgrade in a timely manner,’ but does cover itself by adding that exact dates can vary, depending on network requirements.

Nokia Lumia 900
The much awaited Nokia Lumia 900, will be announced at consumer electronics show next year.
Press invites have called for tech journalists to attend an event in Las Vegas, promising ’stunning demos of the latest technology in action’ as well as information about ‘the future of smart devices’.
Whilst the much-vaunted Lumia 900 is not mentioned by name on the invites, there’s a good chance that a Windows Phone device could be showcased, especially considering the recent suggestions that the latest iteration of Microsoft’s OS will be demoed at the event on the as-yet-unannounced Lumia 900 and 719.With no official confirmation of either the subject of the press conference or an acknowledgement of the existence of the Lumia 900 by Nokia themselves, the mounting speculation could all be in vain. However, as CES is just weeks away, it won’t be too long before all becomes clear

Honda Releases Asimo
Japanese auto manufacturer Honda shocks the world by unveiling a fully operational, $1,999 Honda Asimo Home Helper Robot. Like the asimo we've seen in product demonstrations and on YouTube, “Home Asimo” can walk, run, jump, make coffee and sandwiches and, as we soon learn, clean toilets. Honda sells a stunning half million units before August, 2012. The most startling news, though, comes when one Home Honda robot in Dearborn, Michigan turns on its family’s computer and signs itself up for Twitter and Facebook. By December, more than 300,000 of the robots have been destroyed or returned.
